These beautiful vintage plates would be lovely as a display plate or wall plate and equally lovely used to serve guests!
This plate was made by Schumann Arzberg, in Bavaria, Germany. The backstamp dates the plates to circa 1945.
The plate is in a rounded shape with a scalloped rim. On the edge is a reticulated cut out border.
The white plates were coated in a white glaze. A pattern of fruits in pastel reds, blues, greens, oranges, yellows and browns give the plate a beautifully vintage feel. Around the rim and below the reticulated border is a thin line of gold.
On the underside of the plate is the Schumann Arzberg Bavaria backstamp. There is also the number 24 stamped near the Schumann backstamp.
This plate measures 7 3/4" across and stands 1" high.
These plates is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is no loss to the glazes, patterns, colors or gold trim used.
