For sale is an original antique ambrotype photo. I believe these are ambrotypes but please use your best judgement. They are glass and have a 3 dimensional look to them as you can see the print on both the from and back.
Mom and her baby.
DOUBLE FRAME. Part of the frame is inside the glass and part of it is on the outside. This gives it great depth. Looks to be gold gilt. I would date this to around the 1850's or so.
Original Antique. Bother are 2 1/2" x 2".
It will be protected well and insured.
