Both the cover and COC have been used but are excellent condition. I tuck the book ribbons in the pocket- so there is a crinkle in the ribbon (see photos). It’s been cloudy- so I took photos near multiple windows to show the color of the Turquoise cover. It is really beautiful and looks fantastic with every COC that I own. I included the Hobonichi photos for reference, but the color is a little more blue and a little more mellow than the product photo.
