☆▽☆ I finally got around to getting a buffer & some silver polish on to this beauty. I love how it turned out, it really brought the silver out & polished quite brilliantly! (under a thick layer of years of life & age) Someone inquired about the Sterling silver so I was compelled to get it back to new & really pleased w how it turned out. I also weighed it & it was 56 Grams on the dot! (amethyst likely about 4 grams) the 1st half are of the new pics & the last are of the old ones
This is a favorite fsho. It's a beautiful handmade, wire wrapped sterling silver bracelet wrapped around an amethyst crystal point made by my brilliant (now passed) mentor, Michael Thomas, he only made 2 of these that I know of. He was a self taught jewelry designer & maker, getting his start in 1969 during the start of the summer of love on Haight St. The reason the silver looks dark is because after creating the piece, he dips it into a solution that gives it a sort of antique patina.
