There are scratches on the surface.
The rechargeable battery is included, but the charging cord is not available, so I have not been able to confirm its operation. However, I have confirmed that it can play and that the buttons respond using a single AA battery with a dry cell battery case.
The remote control and LCD on the earphones have also been confirmed to be working.
