First edition (print number not stated) hardcover copy of The Revolt of Sarah Perkins by Marian Cockrell (David McKay Company, 1965). Very rare and collectible first edition copy of this iconic historical fiction novel. Very hard to find in this condition, NOT an ex-library copy. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Faint liquid damage causing waviness and some slight discoloration to bottom half of front cover. A few discolored areas elsewhere to dj. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Small pen marks to front endpaper, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
