This is a 1999 model of the "Champion Midget Racer 5," a reproduction of the 1953 first edition model, released by Tomy Co., Ltd. This item was reproduced to commemorate Tomy's 75th anniversary and is a rare collector's item with limited distribution today.
The acrylic case and outer box show minor scratches and wear due to age, as shown in the photos, but are generally in good condition. I have included photos of any scratches that I personally found concerning.
It has been carefully stored, making it suitable for a collection.
