The draping creates an overlap on the skirt which will allow for a cheeky slit effect on the front when moving. There is some boning and reinforcement present on the bodice to make sure everything stays right where it should.

He started out designing for Suzy Perette and launched his own namesake Victor Costa brand in 1974. His brand became a big succes, eventually landing him collaborations with Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
