This is a brooch that has been made into a necklace.
Dating between the 1930s and 40s, this black thermosetting plastic pendant measures 3 inches by 2 inches. Brooch is deeply carved with flowers and leaves. Reverse features a brass backing, rivets.
It is not possible to positively identify red or black colored Bakelite using the Simichrome Test; therefore this item is being sold as thermosetting Plastic.
